Talking About Memes #10

I decided there were a couple of different discussion memes that I wanted to participate in this year, so like my quote memes, I am combining them into one weekly post.

The first meme is the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week there is a question to answer.

This week’s question:

Do you enjoy reading retellings of, or ‘sequels’ to, classic novels? Why or why not? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

I love fairy tale retellings and I’ve enjoyed the few classics retellings that I’ve read. I like the modern twists to some of the classics and some story lines are just so magical I want to live in them, so experiencing their stories over and over in different forms keeps me in their worlds.

Also joining my discussion memes is Tell Me Something Tuesday hosted by Rainy Day Ramblings. This one shares a discussion topic for each week.
This week’s topic:
Spring picks for 2018
Most of these are the next book in a series for me…
I Have Lost My Way Rescuing Sadie (Delta Force Heroes #7.5; Masters & Mercenaries Crossover Collection) The Other Lady Vanishes Shelter in Place Forged in Ember (A Red-Hot SEALs Novel Book 4) Cupcake Explosion (Cupcakes #4)

And I’ve added a new-to-me discussion called My Favorite… hosted by Maureen’s Books. Bloggers receive a weekly prompt to discuss their favorite thing about.

This week’s prompt:

There are quite a few trilogies that I love! Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors and she is pretty much the queen of the trilogy! I’m not sure if I could narrow it down to just one favorite of hers though, so I think that I’ll go with something completely different and say…

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3)
