Monday Update, Stacking the Shelves, Sunday Post

My Week in Review 2017 #19

This is my week in review, where I update you on my life~ reading, blogging and general. I will also be linking up with some amazing blogs.

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Life Happenings:

As of this week I’ve met my original Goodreads goal for the year. I realized quite early that I was going to knock it out of the park, so went back and updated it to my current goal early in February. I’m trending to beat that goal too, but I don’t want to raise it again considering how little time I’ve had to read lately {aside from audio books}. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like my schedule is going to settle down any time soon.

But the weather has been gorgeous with bright sunny days and temperatures in the 80s. I have big plans to spend some time at one of the local parks with a picnic and some books once I have some time off.

  1. Ooh how are you liking The Problem With Forever?! I ADORE THAT BOOK. <3 It's so sweet and also heartbreaking afdksafldkj. And congrats on reaching your Goodreads goal!! I'm pretty far ahead on mine, but I'm not going to raise it..I'm just going to overachieve and feel good about myself.😂 Haha I'm terrible!

  2. I enjoyed Landline…and I’m curious about The Problem with Forever.

I stopped doing the Goodreads Challenges, as I don’t like the way they sometimes incorrectly counted, showing two books read instead of one when I’ve simply changed the format.

    Plus…who needs the pressure? LOL

I’ve been wanting to try Amanda Quick, since I love her alter-ego Jayne Ann Krentz.

Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. Congrats on the Goodreads goal! Wow you did knock it out of the park. And yay for nice weather too- it finally got nice around here too, and it’s about time. 🙂

I still need to read Landline, and The Haters looks interesting w/ that cover!

  4. Good news on achieving your Goodreads goal, it’s a great feeling! I didn’t meet mine last year but I am determined to make it this year. I have adjusted my book count and now I’m ahead around 14 books which is good.
I love Rainbow Rowell, good to see Landline on your list this week. Enjoy all your books and happy reading!

  5. Nice looking bunch of books. I lowered my GoodReads goal a while ago but may increase it if this summer goes as I hope. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
